Sire Majesterian is no more

Sire Majesterian died of an apparent heart attack at Lutz and Susanne Harfst\'s Marble Hill Stables in Yakima, Washington. The German veterinarian husband-wife team owned the 18-year-old son of Pleasant Colony out of the Northern Dancer mare Linda North. Majesterian sired 79 winners, six stakes winners, and earners of $3,299,353 from 10 crops of racing age and 147 foals. He also has 20 current two-year-olds and two yearlings. Majesterian\'s leading earner is stakes winner Love All the Way, who won 14 races from 50 starts, including the 1999 Independence Day Handicap at Emerald Downs, while earning $408,734. Majesterian was bred by Windfields Farm in Ontario. His 2005 advertised stud fee was $2,500. On the track he won four of 20 starts, including the Colonel R. S. McLaughlin Handicap at Woodbine in 1991, and earned $262,294.
